Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is one of Japan's original sweet Lolita brands, and the brand remains a trend-setter to this day. Many western Lolitas were introduced to the fashion through watching the film adaptation of Novala Takemoto's Kamikaze Girls (Shimotsuma Monogatari), which featured a main character in love with the brand.
