Atelier-Pierrot’s corset bustle skirts are a signature look for the company and for traditional Elegant Gothic Lolita fashion. They’re also some of our most popular and defining items.
This is one of a new round of corset bustle skirts in new color and fabric combinations. Black is of course the most popular color in Gothic Lolita fashion, but Atelier-Pierrot is shaking things up by introducing new elements like the black/purple stripe pattern here (stripes are currently very popular in Japan). The material is cotton, but with a layer of chiffon tulle peeking out from below the hem. This is in contrast to most of their cotton skirts, which often have a cotton underlayer - this one has a chiffon underlayer, like their polyester skirts.
Atelier-Pierrot’s bustle skirts have a bustle in both front and back, and they can be configured in a variety of ways depending on the look you’re going for.
Note that the sizes quoted below are provided by Atelier-Pierrot, but they are very conservative. 26" is about right for the smallest part of the waist, but there is probably about an extra inch of give.
